However, we understand that sometimes an item may not be perfect for you. This policy outlines the steps for returning items and receiving a refund.
1. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same original condition that you received it, and in its original packaging with all tags attached. You must also have the original proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt).
What is NOT eligible for return?
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty:
- Earrings for pierced ears.
- Any intimate apparel, swimwear, or bodysuits where the hygiene seal has been removed.
- Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery.
2. Return Timeframe
You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your item to initiate a return. Returns initiated after this 30-day period will not be accepted.
3. How to Initiate a Return
Please follow these simple steps to ensure your return is processed smoothly:
- Contact Our Customer Care Team: Within the 30-day window, please email us at gigi-tom.com] with your order number and the details of the item(s) you wish to return. Briefly explain the reason for the return.
- Receive Return Instructions: Our team will respond within 2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions on where to send your package. Please do not send anything back without an RMA number, as we cannot be responsible for unlogged returns.
- Package and Ship Your Return: Carefully pack the item(s) in their original packaging, include any tags and a copy of your invoice/order confirmation. Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box. Ship the package to the address we provide.
Important: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., we sent the wrong item) or the item is faulty. We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service, as GigiandTom is not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit.
4. Inspection and Processing
Once we receive your return, our team will inspect the item(s) to ensure they meet our return eligibility criteria. This process typically takes 3-5 business days from the date we receive your package.
You will receive an email notification once your return has been received and inspected, informing you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
5. Refunds
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.
- Timing: You will receive a credit automatically applied to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Please note that depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take additional time for the refund to be posted to your account.
- Amount: The refund will be for the cost of the returned product(s). Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Sale Items: Sale items are eligible for a refund unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
6. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges (e.g., swapping a size Small for a Medium). To get the correct item, we recommend placing a new order on our website and following the standard return process for the original item you wish to send back.
7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
We carefully check every order before it leaves our warehouse. However, if you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at gigi-tom.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We will apologize for the error and arrange for a prepaid return shipping label for the item. Upon receipt of the faulty/wrong item, we will gladly send you a replacement at no extra cost. If a replacement is not available, we will issue a full refund, including your original shipping costs.
8. European Union 14-Day “Cooling Off” Right
If you are a customer within the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel your order and return the goods within 14 calendar days from the day you receive them, for any reason, without justification. The same return condition guidelines apply (item must be unused and in original packaging). You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
